What I love about my hobby is the feeling of creating something with my own hands. I plan, craft, build – I can always find a new project to keep me occupied.

It all started with a broken kitchen shelf. It would have cost a lot to replace because of the unusual shape of our kitchen, so I set about repairing it myself. And in the end my methods worked out well – the shelf is still standing to this day.

After that initial success, I started thinking about all the other things I could do myself. I papered and painted the walls, laid parquet flooring and did a bunch of other jobs, too. I started building furniture and repairing all sorts of things. I read the manuals carefully, followed the instructions exactly and had a lot of fun in the process.
